What Makes Arkel Different
If nature is our playground, then it is our responsibility to preserve it for others to enjoy.
That’s why we think it is important to make bags that will last a lifetime, contrary to the world of fast-fashion and sweatshops. Unlike other industries, you can feel good about working in an environment that prioritizes the planet before profits.
Not only does we work hard to manufacturer most products here in Canada but also source and select local, carbon neutral and recycled materials.
Since our beginnings, this is part of our DNA,
Arkel team

A job is like riding a bike. You might need training wheels at first, but it won’t take long before you outgrow them. After a while you’ll probably even want to explore new terrain. That’s totally fine and we encourage you to learn new skillsets. In other words, whether you’re a marketing guru or a skillful craftsperson, there’s plenty to learn from each other.
In a world of tight deadlines and looming burnouts, we’re just enjoying the ride.
We’ve been around long enough to know that sprinting isn’t viable in the long run.
That’s why we’ve adopted a steady pace where there’s room for laughter with the rest of the team.
