The bag is offered in sustainable X-Pac X11 and RX 30 materials to reduce its environmental footprint.
-X11 is a lightweight waterproof fabric made of sustainably grown cotton. Its face provides a soft feel and appearance.
It is made of 3 layers:
Natural Cotton face with Durable Water Repellent (DWR);
Post-consumer recycled polyester X-PLY reinforcement;
Waterproof 0.5 mils shiny polyester film backing.
-RX30 is also a waterproof, carbon-neutral fabric made of 100 % recycled post-consumer polyester.
It is made of 3 layers:
300 denier 100% recycled polyester face with Durable Water Repellent (DWR);
Post-consumer recycled polyester X-PLY reinforcement;
Waterproof 0.5 mils polyester film.
In summary, the main differences are their weight, feel and abrasion resistance. X11 is lighter and has a soft feel, while RX30 is heavier but more abrasion-resistant.
